I think I can honestly say I've buried more hard drives than most people will ever own.
That sounds like an understatement; I suspect "families" would be closer, but maybe still an understatement.
But is that a good thing?

faaar more of an authoritative recommendation of WDs than pretty much anybody else's experience - real, anecdotal, or combination thereof - makes their recommendations.
