Does your "Surface Scanner" generate a time record, as does Terminal, when it's finished its work?
If I'm going to compare it with TT Deluxe>Surface Scan I'll need to know whether I've got to sit here with my eye on my deuced Mac(hina) during both operations in order to get accurate time readings.
