What version of iPhone Software are you using?
I too have a Netgear router that was flawless with my iPhone until I went to iPhone OS 3.0. I then suffered from intermittent wifi connections on my iPhone that were extremely annoying. However, once I went to the iPhone OS after that one (and all subsequent updates), it seemed to correct the problem.
I am using 3.1.2 as is my wife's iPhone.
It has worked fine for 3 days now
