Indeed, but the topic of the thread you link to centers on an apparent incompatibility of a CCAAgent version with Snowy. Still, I've seen a few other references to noisy fans and CCAAgent, hence my suspicion of complicity there. Fortunately, CCAAgent can be quit at home; it remains to be seen if the fan issue reappears under those circumstances.
