Yes, that works. But it may be helpful to see the bottom of the Get Info window where the Permission and Sharing settings are shown. Take a larger window screen shot, please.
Also, after all this discussion about images I forgot your original question.
So I re-read your original post and saw that you called this an app. Is that correct? Is there more going on here than just a folder? If so, you may need to delete (properly) the associated app. If so, this folder may just be part of the Tab Group Favs
