Dave, you're right. There is one detail* that may not be, quite, but that doesn't detract from the basic condition that you can no longer log in properly. Still, the bottom line remains the same: Search is not available.
*) After logging in again (despite the error messages it does work, after a fashion), the blue bar says you're logged in as your email address instead of your username, while the Forums navigation bar ignores that.
