Edit: In fairness, I decided to give Numbers another 'kick at the can', given I haven't looked at it for a very long time.....and maybe there have been changes to make it more 'Excel-like'. I have done an import of a complicated file (as in, many worksheets) and the import was both fast and smooth. A quick peek suggests there have been improvements.....but I need to spend a bit of time with it.
