A MAGA party, like all sects, will inevitably dissolve into squabbling sub-groups and when Trump dies (he is after all getting well along in years) they would lose the voice they coalesce around....
The problem could resurface if they look around and find a new voice to "coalesce around". In congress they have two potential leaders who fill the bill - Marjorie Taylor Greene (Georgia) and Lauren Boebert (Colorado) who are both QAnon wackos and spreaders of conspiracy theories.
Neither of which have the necessary charisma to attract more than a few of the most credulous followers much less the big money sources Trump was for inexplicable reasons able to con. Besides that it looks as if Trump may be needing all of those sources himself to cover his civil and criminal legal expenses in multiple state and federal courts.
If we knew what it was we were doing, it wouldn't be called research, would it?
