Anything to draw attention to himself and away from the inauguration of a new President, or from recent reports on his machinations with the insurrectionists he may be seeking the safety of a military escort to get out of D.C. Based on those same reports he will be lucky if he doesn't have a police escort to the D.C. jail on capital charges. Maybe he plans to hijack Air Force One to Cuba — or anywhere without an extradition treaty.
What he deserves is a blacked out SUV, four Federal agents, and a C130 ride to Fort Leavenworth, Kansas to be held pending trial.
