I see they've arrested about a dozen of the Trump mob (still not nearly enough) and are moving ahead with charges. There is an irony, which is that they could get whacked by a penalty their hero put in place. Trump's order calls for prosecution, to the fullest extent of the law, any person or group that destroys or vandalizes a monument, memorial or statue, and authorizes a penalty of up to 10 years in prison. It seems to me that the 220 year old Capitol building would be categorized a memorial structure.
