Could anyone have ever imagined a more surreal ending to a presidency than the President of the United States urging his supporters to insurrection because he lost an election? Today may be one of the sadest days in the history of our Republic. I don't know what bothers me the most, Trump or those who swallow his lies. I am beginning to understand how Hitler was able to ascend to power in Germany.
