I can't find my mail plist. I went to Library, Preferences and then couldn't find it. The search bar is useless as it calls up everything but what I want. Why doesn't the search bar bring up stuff in the preferences folder only? I get don't get why it pulls stuff from all over my Mac except for what I want. Typing in plist doesn't work at all either.

Without getting into the nitty gritty, I'll suggest that after you move that plist to your desktop you restart your MBP before you relaunch Mail.
