Does anyone else think (wearily) along these lines?


Go around more or less any website hunting for a "contact us" link and you're likely to find an "info@........" link.

Send an email to this address and you will never get an answer.

info@ is their way of saying "we'll pretend to offer customer service/pre-customer service/answer questions before you buy something, but HAH, we never look at that address, you naive cretin, but we're playing the game anyway."

If you (blinking with astonishment) do get a reply from an email sent to an info@ address, it'll come back from no-reply@

That's a good one too. Airlines are famous for this, for instance.
