NEW PREFERENCE PANES:- Apple ID: All the functions necessary to manage your Apple Account including:
- Name, Phone, & email
- Password & Security
- iTunes Store, App Store, & Book Store purchases
- What apps can use iCloud
- Managing iCloud Storage
- Touch ID for purchases
- have been moved to System Preferences > Apple ID which appears at the top right of the System Preferences window
- FAMILY SHARING: all of the functions for setting up Family Sharing including:
- Purchases from iTunes Store, App Store, Book Store
- iCloud Storage
- Location sharing
- Screen Time
- Apple Music
- Apple News+
- TV Channels
- has been placed in this preference pane found at the top right of the System Preferences window.
- COMMENT: This is a huge improvement over the previous practice of scattering these function over iTunes, Sharing pref pane, and other usually obscure locations. 👌
