A bit off topic, but I am taking this opportunity to shout out a compliment to
Other World Computing. I purchased an external Thunderbolt 3 Envoy Pro EX SSD from them for use with Catalina so I could have two high speed SSDs one for Mojave and the other for Catalina. Unfortunately the drive had a faulty TB3 cable and was unusable for any purpose. An online chat with OWC tech support in which I described all of the troubleshooting steps I had gone through to eliminate my MBP as the source of the problem immediately and without question resulted in an RMA and free UPS return shipping label. I dropped the drive at a UPS store on Tuesday, OWC received it Thursday and the replacement drive shipped
that same day. It could arrive this evening, but I expect delivery Monday.
My hat is off to OWC for their outstanding customer service and unbeatable product return policy.
