I have seen numerous reports and can add from my own experience that the original Weather widget no longer works. Does anyone have a good replacement?

That's a true widget, not a Desktop or menu bar app; not a Notification Center display, not the Weather Widget in the App Store that really is a an app and not a widget; and not the ones listed in Apples own widget section that lead to dead download pages; but a true widget that resides in the widget Space on the Desktop.
