As per Canon Mp Navigator Software Download – MP Navigator EX, ryck's MP Navigator Ex Ver. 5.1.2 may not even be compatible with Mojave, let alone its successor.

More: I said above that the apps in my linked driver (that I was able to "examine") wouldn't open in my Mojave, but I failed to say that the error message suggested that a version incompatibility was the culprit.
