Impressions of my new used imac are mostly positive. I will write a long post later. I'm trying to use migration assistant from the old Mac to the new one and haven't been able to.
I tried connecting the two iMacs with a Firewire cable. I also tried an Ethernet cable. But on each Mac when I run Migration Assistant I get only as far as "looking for other computers" and an endlessly spinning cursor. They're right next to each other with two connection options. How can they not see each other?
