Perhaps you could let us know some details of where the hard edges or show-stoppers might be for Skype cross-platform video conferencing as it appears I'm going to be forced into a Windows world for the next few weeks.
I'm still not sure that I can even plug in an external webcam to these machines just yet....and if so, which one(s) may work without needing permission to install special drivers.
I've been very spoiled by my Mac-centric past.
