Does that mean that one can't de-register for FTM? Seems unlikely.
If username can't be edited, why not just "unsubscribe" under current username and then re-register? The only thing that would be lost would be one's original registration date.
FTM seems to work like every other website I've looked at from this point of view, i.e. your ONLY option is to open a new account with a new user name (but in doing so you'd lose your post history, so it's not necessarily a good idea). I don't even think you
can close your existing account.
I don't know when it happened, but eBay has changed their user name policy, and you can now attach your old-user-name feedback to a new user name...excellent idea in my estimation.
