Ever since I installed El Capitan MS Word for Mac 2011 (version 14.7.7) has been going through 'contortions' which seem to revolve around the "Lucida Grande" font: Over and over again at any given go, it seems to be trying to troubleshoot/correct something (which I can't identify from Console's log messages) and apparently cannot.
I don't use this font nor does any app I do use.
What is the current wisdom in order to get rid of this annoyance along with its dozens of lines of error messages in Console?
Should I just delete Lucida Grande from my font list, and if so, how is that accomplished?
