When logging into Version Tracker, I get a message that my account was suspended. Why did you do this? Why didn't you have the courtesy to send me an email to that effect? In addition, when I try to log into CNET Forums, I get a message that there is no record of my account.

CNET's response was:

Hello,

Thank you for your query. It does appear as if your account was suspended. We do not have any direct insight into who did this, but we apologize that you were not told when it happened. The message that there is no record of your CNET Forums account is likely also tied to the suspended account status. The note attached to your account says that you have been redirecting people to or otherwise advertising other forums on our own.

Regards,
