Apple has never provided a driver my 4 year old Canon ImageCLASS LBP6000; I've always had to go to Canon to look for updated drivers.

After reading your post I took a look at their website, and in addition to its now "detecting" which version of OS X/macOS you're running, it also offers a new dropdown via which drivers for other OS versions can be obtained.

Happily, I found a new, updated for High Sierra driver for my printer, but unhappily, it's still 32 bit, and I fear that Canon isn't going to support my printer with a 64 bit driver when it becomes necessary. frown
