I've updated both my laptop and my desktop to the 10.13.1 download from Apple. The laptop (2017 MacBook Air) went perfectly and in About This Mac announces the system as 10.13.1.
However, the desktop (2010 Mac Pro) ran the update, but it didn't seem to "take". I ran it again today. It took a half hour to install and the font libraries have changed from how I had left them (Kurt Lang) but still, when I look at About This Mac or even the Startup Disk preference pane, I only see 10.13.
Anyone else experience this? Thanks.
