The Refurb Store is a crap-shoot, Rita.
Since the 128 GB model is the stock model it's going to turn up most often, but a "configured" 256 GB model will come down the pipe for about $100 more sooner or later. Precisely when that may happen, though, is anybody's guess, and it may even be while you're asleep and be gone before you wake up. (I bought my daughter's refurb for her, because I was better able to keep tabs on the store than she was.)
