I read the thread. Interesting. So I yanked the battery but it still won't start up. I know the power cord is good because as I plug it in, sparks fly from the wall plug.
👺 You should NOT be getting sparks when you pug in a properly functioning power supply. Your issue may be a malfunctioning power supply which in turn is failing to charge the battery. It could also be a bad wall plug.
Even if I have it turned on? I can't tell whether the computer is on or off since nothing happens. But if it in the on position, couldn't that cause a spark?
