Thanks Joe, yes, Adobe, is a pita, but I'm tied down being a photographer and knowing PS, and Lightroom, and Bridge well....

I did the terminal command the article recommends but got;

-bash: /Applications/Akamai/admintool: No such file or directory
Macintosh-3:~

Etre still shows it as an app
[failed] com.akamai.client.plist (2010-10-28) [Support] - /Applications/Akamai/loader.pl: Executable not found!
[failed] com.akamai.single-user-client.plist (2013-09-07) [Support] - ~/Applications/Akamai/netsession_mac: Executable not found!

I did find the plist and deleted them.

But I can't find the app anywhere, not even with spotlight.
