And, it would not be any different with FireFox. Quite a while ago they sent a message to the effect: ""Your Firefox is now out of date….the latest version is not supported on your system."
Just FYI: One can choose (as I did) to install Mozilla's Firefox ESR [Extended
Support Release] for the time being. In not-too-distant future it too will no longer be supported, at which point decisions will have to be made.
