You can suggest it, but the suggestion would fall on deaf ears.

I've always used Safari and it has always met my needs quite adequately. I could have a new version (if I actually wanted one) by choosing to move to a higher OS. I don't as there are too many other applications that will no longer work.

And, for my needs FireFox, would not be an improvement. Quite a while ago they sent a message to the effect: ""Your Firefox is now out of date….the latest version is not supported on your system." Since then I know I've had a couple of OS Mountain Lion updates and the Safari update to 6.2.8.

My statement to Jon about 6.2.8 wasn't a complaint. I was just presenting a fact about the functionality of Click to Flash being on a Safari version slightly higher than he thought.
