Small consolation, but FWIW, that feature
now is not reliable for me either. Sometimes when I tap, I get the expected popup . . . at other times, nothing happens at all.
So . . . I have "unchecked" it from the TRACKPAD PREFERENCES. Have lived without it this long, so not a big deal for me.
Definitely some sort of bug-a-boo in SIERRA, though.
