There is a way to do this via OnyX but it doesn't stick. In OnyX, select Parameters and then select Misc. There is a box to disable Gatekeeper. If you then go to System Preferences > Security&Privacy, the option to accept all apps is there and is checked. However, if you decide to check one of the other two options, quit System Preferences, and then relaunch it, the third option is no longer available, as before.
