I don't believe the Houston Chronicle has supported a Democratic candidate for President since reconstruction and they have come out in favor of Hillary Clinton. The Dallas Morning Snooze News isn't quite as pro-Republican as their neighbor to the South, Houston, but in the reddest of red states they too have endorsed Hillary.
In spite of that, a lot of my progressive friends, who are convinced that Hillary will lose big in Texas, are planning to vote for

These progressive voters in no way support their party's platform, but cannot bring themselves to vote for either Hillary or "The Donald" but like the them as individuals.
