He's lost some support...so far, the amount is somewhere between negligible and minimal, and the article reports that his military fan base is pretty much intact, but it also indicates that all is not as he'd prefer it to be, that his shiny facade is, even if only ever so slightly, beginning to tarnish.
The ayes will never bring the nays back into their camp, but the nays will undoubtedly win converts.
That probably stems from the nays being Democratic, draft-dodging moles who are masquerading as vets.
