I think a well placed smiley or emoji in a response is far more meaningful than those posting icons.
I agree completely. All I was pointing out in response to joemikeb's comment ("It is comment like that where I wish this forum software had a "Like" function along the lines of Facebook's. ") was that something already existed here that could be put into service (albeit in jury-rigged fashion).
