FWIW the command to disable Dashboard is defaults write com.apple.dashboard mcx-disabled -bool false The command to hide Dashboard space in Mission Control isâ€¦ defaults delete com.apple.dock dashboard-in-overlay If we knew what it was we were doing, it wouldn't be called research, would it? — Albert Einstein
