In yesterday's primaries, Trump's two wins were closed primaries. So, getting to the question, what do we deduce from the fact that Trump seems to be doing well with the Republican core?

He only tied Cruz vote-wise in LA and barely beat him in KY...apparently the result of their closed primaries.
He is apparently vulnerable in the "closed primary" states, because much of his voter base is people who have heretofore been non-voters who won't be able to just walk in and vote.
