If the upcoming Scalia replacement debacle doesn't convince the greater electorate that the Republican party is truly trying to kill America, nothing will. The GOP has scuttled the political process so completely over the past 8 years and seems to feel that they should paid by the tax dollar for essentially doing nothing for the good of the people. I'm reminded of "King of Hearts" (1966 movie, starring Alan Bates) — only getting back into the asylum won't help. Think irreparably nutsy cuckoo.
