Not to put too fine a point on it ... There is not a single presidential candidate of any political stripe who could conceivably "do America proud" (if elected). They're all a bunch of feckless bumblers. Talk about effete electoral slates — to use of one Spiro Agnew's favorite words. (For all his foibles he was at least literate.) An amazingly sad state of affairs. Even Eldridge Cleaver (back in 1968) had charisma, albeit zero electability. Talk about the beginning of the end ....
