MOSAIC's files were last seen in the LION (10.7) bundle. Do not recall if/where it was located in LEOPARD or SNOW LEOPARD.
With a bit a fiddling around, LION's files could be installed in MOUNTAIN LION (10.8) . . . deleting the corresponding files in 10.8 and replacing them with the files from 10.7 (LION) version.
Unfortunately, the same procedure did not work in trying to move the files from 10.8 to 10.9 (MAVERICKS).
On a lark, I tried to do the same routine that I did from LION to MOUNTAIN in moving the LION files to YOSEMITE. No such luck there, either. Boo-hoo.
P.S. Sure would love to have MOSIAC back . . . to run in Yosemite !!! It was fun. And I have no idea why it would have been dropped from versions after LION.
