Well, that certainly sounds a lot easier. To be sure I understand, this is what I think you mean.
1. Attach the G4 to the iMac via Firewire cable. (Leave G4 turned off)
2. Turn on the G4 while holding down the T.
3. I should be able to "see" the content of ZIp floppies popped into the G4's built-in (internal) Zip drive.
