I'm finally getting around to removing data from a pile of Iomega Zip disks. I have a G4 tower with a Zip drive in it, however no monitor for the G4. Therefore I'm thinking about removing the Zip drive and using a Universal Drive Adapter (UDA) to attach the drive to my iMac.

Newer Technology's USB 3.0 UDA appears to be able to access Zip drives. (I have the USB 2.0 UDA, which doesn't.)

Has anyone used the USB 3.0 UDA for Zip drives and, if so, how did it work out? I notice OWC has the adapter on sale.
