artie505 Joined: Aug 2009 Likes: 15	My current DSL modem has an on/off switch, as did the one it replaced, but I ran into your situation with a friend's cable modem a few years ago. For lack of any better ideas I just yanked the plug. The new Great Equalizer is the SEND button.
