He wanted the other party to set up a Dropbox account to which he, i.e. Bensheim, could upload, and as far as I can tell, that's possible (as is writing to someone else's account)
only with
sharing enabled.
Edit: And for sharing to work, all sharers must have Dropbox accounts.
