dianne Moderator Joined: Aug 2009	Jim, In Mac OS X 10.7.5 Preview 5.5.3 I have experienced similar behavior you report as regards the use of Annotate to add a text box to some .pdfs. My workaround in those instances to use the Note option. Back up everything you can't afford to lose: documents, mail, movies, music, photos, and other data and settings.
