I don't know. If it did, it isn't a thread I recall.

I had problems before with the XML not converting .docx documents at all, but it turned out to be an issue with a particular document from the sender. That person's previous documents had all worked fine.

This time around there are two issues:

1. Word, and only Word, is not working in the background.

2. Word is not being converted to a Word document.

I can do "Save As" to .docx but, between that and the two windows, it's a giant pain in the ......
