I've made a Super Duper clone from scratch and am doing the same for Time Machine in case that becomes the only option. However, I'm not quite sure how to approach it as Snow Leopard doesn't have the traditional Archive & Install.

My system disks are the original system which won't write over 10.6.8. I'm wondering if I have to partition my main drive, install and update to 10.6.8, and then migrate from my clone. After that, go back to no partition. I only use about 80 GB of a 320 GB drive.

However, it'd really be a pain to have the issue migrate too and get me back to where I started.
