I downloaded "US Academic U6, version 3, (radically) updated and (radically) revised (February–March 2012)" but have no clue what to do with it.
The installation instructions (below) don't tell me HOW to install the 191KB executable file provided (US Academic U6.keylayout).
INSTALLATION
Any keylayout may be installed (MAC OS X 10.2 or later) in either:
1. Library/Keyboard Layouts (recommended; available to all users of the given computer); or
2. Users/User[i.e. you]/Library/Keyboard Layouts. In this latter case, the keylayout is available to only the logged-in user.
Neither of the Library destinations seem to have anything in their folders labeled Keyboard Layouts. So, what's that all about?
I reluctant to attempt any drag-and-drop operation (if that would even work) without knowing the consequences of my actions in advance. So any help would be gratefully received.
