Ouch! That's not something I'm in a great hurry to do, given the potential pain in the _______ if it doesn't go right. I've done a bit of checking and it seems Snow Leopard doesn't have Archive and Install - that it does the install and keeps all your settings et cetera in the process. However, Murphy's Law and all that.....

I've looked at my Snow Leopard disk (10.6) and the PDFs on it don't say anything about this. I'll check a bit more....perhaps SL reinstall is worth a new thread.
