That's correct. The actual download can be done until Jan. 14, 2012, something that may be necessary due to the slow (10-12 hours) and occasionally problematic download (my first attempt bombed after 2.25GB). Note that there is an optional extended download service (for a small extra charge).
Despite these hiccups it's a great offer, and there may be others in the near future. I'll keep you posted.
