update Joe, if still there:

Its now working again-- so I'll hold my breath.

Question:
the original router has 74% connection rate.

The laptop in other room without extender is 30%.

With extender it goes to 50%. (that the average speed. I'll go with that -- lowest speed listed)

Is that normal?

(still 50 from 30 is worth $70...)

but,I was thinking the extender would bump the laptop to the speed of the original. I guess not?
